Classification description of auxiliary materials for wires and cables

Commonly used wire and cable auxiliary materials mainly include: filling materials, separation materials, shielding materials 3 categories.

1. Filling materials, including: polyester fiber, cotton yarn, PP rope. The purpose is to keep the cable round, reduce the amount of glue, reduce the cost, can increase the strength of the cable. Among them, polyester fibers are often used for wires with high bending requirements.
2. Separator materials, including: tissue paper, polyester tape, foamed PP tape, talc/mica powder, silicone oil, DOP, B .T.A.

(1). Core cotton paper, polyester tape, foamed PP tape, wrapped paper tape when wire is formed into a cable or wrapped paper tape when the outer quilt is pushed out, which can round the wire and ensure peeling.
(2). Talcum powder/mica powder, the PVC surface of the core wire and the coated PVC are heated when the outside is exhaled, which is easy to stick together. Talcum powder/mica powder is used for isolation, which can ensure skin opening and control adhesion.
(3). Silicone oil, sprayed during insulation extrusion, is mainly used to improve the adhesion between conductor and insulation, which can ensure skin opening between insulation and outer cover.
(4). DOP, used between conductor and insulation, improve the adhesion between conductor and insulation.
(5). B. t. a., the solution is applied to the surface of the conductor when the insulation is extorted, and the main function is to prevent the oxidation of the bare copper wire.

3. Shielding materials, including: aluminum foil Mellah tape (often accompanied by a row of interference ground wire), braided wire, oblique envelope. Shielding can effectively prevent mutual interference inside and outside the shielding layer.
